The minute hand measures 2 1/2" from mid hole to tip and the oblong hole measures 1/8" x 3/16". The hour hand measures 1 7/8" from mid hole to tip and the hole is crimped and protrudes out the back 1/8" and the round hole measures 3/16". Made of gray steel and are in good shape. For mechanical clocks. They can be painted and trimmed to your needs.
